For Stalker Angie

I quit blogging a couple of years ago. (See this post.) Between Ravelry, Facebook and Twitter, I don't miss it very much (links are to my accounts).

The reason the pictures are still showing up here is some sort of magical linky thing I did with my Flickr account. These are cross-posts of only my mobile uploads there.

Enjoy the pictures here, but don't feel obligated to comment. I just never bothered to change the settings that made them show up here :)

No More Blog For Me.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. If I have to force myself to come up with something to post, then this has lost its appeal to me. Ravelry has taken over and I'm not terribly sorry about that.

But with the spread of Ravelry comes more people that know me offline, who I really don't want having access to this, what I've written before. I'd have told them about it if I did.

So I'm unlinking this from my Ravelry page and probably stopping posting altogether. It isn't like I've been very regular about it anyways. Send me an email if you want to keep in touch and somehow aren't already in my friends list over there. (I'm mrsblueflame there. Which will change as soon as I find a username I like better. I think you can still find people by searching their old names though.) lionessria/yahoo/com

This has been fun. Thank you all for reading and commenting!

Updating Ravelry

Last night, while going through old pictures for a secret project, I found a bunch of old FO pics. Naturally, I laughed, copied them to my laptop, and moved on. Later, I started adding them to my Ravelry projects page. Why? I have no idea. Quite a few of them I'd rather not admit to ever knitting. And yet, here I am, adding embarrassing things to my public knitting profile. Yikes. Attention-seeking or Ravelry-addicted? I can't decide.

(Go look if you want - I haven't added the truly bad ones yet. I need to go upstairs and double-check some things first.)

In other news, we've had a bit of nice weather and started tackling the mess that is the "landscaping" here.

And as far as I know (until tomorrow, when I go back to work and find out for sure), this is my last week of work. Hooray for seasonal layoffs!
